Tuesday, 9.3.10 at 19:30 at Raanana’s Yad LaBanim

Keren Roi Lo Echsar Foundation is holding its annual fundraising event, and the proceeds will go toward its activity on behalf of Raanana’s needy children.

The event, scheduled for Tuesday, 9.3.10 at 19:30 at Raanana’s Yad Labanim will include Kobi Maimon in a Standup Comedy Act.  Also performing are the Kol Hadvash Ensemble and the Dance Center students, supervised by Mandy Kol, in a tap-dancing number.

The event will be attended by Mayor Nahum Hofree, MK Ze’ev Bielski and Brigadier-General (Res), Rabbi Yisrael Weiss.

Keren Roi Lo Echsar was founded by Raanana residents, Moshe and Etti Hassan, in memory of their son Roi, who was killed while serving his country as a soldier in the IDF.  This volunteer organization helps the city’s students in many areas:  purchasing textbooks, funding school trips, trips to Poland, didactic psychological assessments, the purchase of computers, paying for extracurricular activities, summer camps, etc.

Mayor Nahum Hofree:  “I encourage Raanana residents to open their hearts and contribute to this worthy cause – Keren Roi Lo Echsar.  This organization provides generous assistance and we should show our appreciation and respect for its endeavors.”
